JJ, QQ and KK Blackjack Side Bets

Rules

The JJ, QQ and KK are all essentially the same side bet, but based on different face cards. I will explain the rules for the KK side bet. The QQ is the same except substitute queens for kings. Likewise the JJ is the same except substitute jacks for kings.

The following is the pay table for the KK side bet. All wins are based on the player's initial two cards.

  • Kings of diamonds pair -- Pays 200 to 1
  • Match 20 (total of 20 with both cards matching in rank and suit) -- Pays 20 to 1
  • Any 20 (total of 20, which I presume includes a soft 20, other than those listed above) -- Pays 4 to 1
  • One King (player has one king and any other card that doesn't form a total of 20) -- Pays 1 to 1
