Let it Ride: Supplemental Pay Tables

Introduction

There are so many different known pay tables for Let it Ride that I decided to address only the most common one on my main Let it Ride page, and address all the other known 16 pay tables in this appendix.

The following two tables summarize the pay tables I am aware of. The first table shows those found at land casino. The second are those found at the "bonus casino" at the 5dimes online sports book.

All pay tables are based on optimal strategy for the given pay table. Sorry, but you're on your own with that, but for the pay tables that resemble the standard pay table the strategy for the standard pay table should be adequate.

Following are where the above pay tables have been seen.

  • Standard: The usual pay table most U.S. casinos use.
  • Argosy: Seen at one of the Argosy casinos.
  • Isle of Capri: Seen at Isle of Capri casino in Black Hawk, Colorado.
  • Royal Swazi: Seen at the Royal Swazi casino in Swaziland, Africa.
  • Northwest: Reported to be in use in some casinos in Oregon and Washington.
  • Video: Seen in video Let It Ride.

Do no be confused by the video Let it Ride pay table. On the machines it is found on the pays are on a "for one" basis, which means the player loses his original wager, even if he wins. To make the adjustment to the usual "to one" basis for table games, I subtracted one from each win.

The next two tables show the ten pay tables for Let it Ride found at the 5dimes bonus casino.

For Let it Ride, I define the house edge as the ratio of the expected player (negative for loss) to one of the three initial bets, since only one is ultimately required.
