Chargers QB Justin Herbert has Surgery to Repair Torn Labrum
Introduction
On Sunday, January 29th, 2023 the Los Angeles Chargers’ young and extremely successful quarterback, Justin Herbert, had surgery to repair a torn labrum.
The now 24 - year - old Herbert, is anticipated to be fully cleared for all football activities participation during the 2023 National Football League offseason sessions beginning this spring of 2023.
No one knows when Justin endured his shoulder injury, but the Chargers were knocked out of the National Football League playoffs just 2 - weeks ago when the Jacksonville Jaguars mounted the 3rd - largest comeback in NFL postseason history in the wild - card round of the NFL playoffs.
Herbert played multiple weeks this NFL season with fractured rib cartilage in which he suffered during the 2nd - week of the National Football League regular - season. Herbert still threw for 4,739 - yards as well as 25 - touchdowns as the Los Angeles Chargers fought their way into their 1st - NFL playoff berth since the year of 2018.
Justin was recently selected as an alternate player in the AFC for the 2022 - 2023 NFL Pro Bowl games, but Herbert will not be able to play in the 2022 - 2023 NFL Pro Bowl games because of his injury and the necessary surgery in order to repair his torn labrum.
