Booming Games Software & 23 Online Casinos Reviewed

Introduction

Booming Games is a provider of game software for Internet casinos. As of this writing, they are exclusively a slot machine provider. The developer is based on the Isle of Man, and has grown to have a series of offices in the Philippines as well as Greece and the United Kingdom. The company still appears to be quite small in terms of the number of casinos offering their titles, but they are growing by adding new titles on a consistent basis.

From what I’ve seen with the software put out with Booming Games, the games are a bit simpler than other five reel games put out by companies like Net Ent, Playtech, or Microgaming, but they still have their charm. Playing these games almost makes me nostalgic for older games that helped shape the casino industry as we know it today.

The developer seems to have a primary focus on the Asian betting market, meaning that most players will have a difficult time finding an operator that offers the games.

Booming Games offers about 40 different slot machines. There is a very consistent feel to all their games. If you miss the simpler video slots of the nineties, then you may enjoy Booming Games. Of the several games I tried out some were skins of each other, meaning the same basic design with different themes and graphics on each game. Every game seems to have a free spin bonus. Sometimes free spins pay both directions and sometimes they seem to be the same as paid spins. Other features you may see are expanding wilds and fully wild fourth reel on every spin. The field of play varies, from three to five reels. The game experience is highly configurable with control of the sound, speed, and auto-play.

As usual, I don't know what return these slots are set to. So, in terms of value, you're on your own. Booming Games hasn't gone through the process of having its software independently audited by eCOGRA or releasing independent numbers on their payouts, but they have gone the route of using iTech Labs to independently verify that their platform is fair to players.

Conclusion

While the games at Booming Games may not be the best in terms of presentation, they certainly have their place in terms of being nostalgic when you actually give them a spin. You are going to have to look long and far to find the games in an actual casino, but if you do, you will more than likely find at least one title that you’ll enjoy.

Moving forward it will be interesting to see how Booming Games advances its business. Seeing as how they focus on slots, it would be great to see them eventually make their games look and feel more modern, or at least transition to offer games like blackjack, roulette, craps, video poker, and parlour games as well. I’d also be interested in seeing the company offering their games on more gaming platforms as well as in mobile mode, which would allow for the slots to be played from anywhere.
