Introduction

NuWorks is a gaming software that's available for punters around the world, even in the United States, where online casino game developers generally shy away from. The software is tied in directly with Real Time Gaming, another US-friendly software that is offered by the majority of American friendly sites. Having launched over five years ago, there's not a whole lot of games offered here, and the ones that have been already look a bit dated. Still, this is a decent software with fair games, and if you're looking for something a tad different than the normal RTG fare, this is a software you might want to consider.

The video poker offering at Nuworks is limited to three different games at the time of this writing. All three games are available in single play and two of them also in 3-play. The graphics and sound seem like they are from the late 90's. The sound of coins hitting a metal hopper sounds an awful lot like the same sound effect used by Realtime Gaming.

You might be wondering whether the sequential royal pays in both directions in Joker Poker. Me too. However, with a win of only 2,000 coins for this huge long-shot, it doesn't make much difference in the return. I show the additional win of 1,200 coins above a non-sequential royal is worth 0.028% for one direction and 0.057% for both ways.

The following table shows the Video Poker games available in alphabetical order.

Based on the random Nuworks slots I looked at, they all seem like more or less the same two-dimensional five-reel game with simple graphics and sound. The names, symbols, and pay tables all vary but the game-play suffers from too little variety between games. All the games look like what you find in a land casino about 15 years ago.
