Introduction
PureRNG produces slots and table games for online casinos, with the emphasis clearly on the latter. The company is determined to change the way table games are played at online casinos. It’s about time someone did, as the selection of games is quite uniform across all game providers, big and small.
How does the company seek to change the balance? First, by bringing the games to the era of mobile gaming. Fully optimised, you can play these games on the go, whenever best suits you. Beyond this, the games have received updates and new functions, mainly in the field of bonuses and achievements. You might be familiar with such things from online slots, but you can hardly ever find them in table games. That is about to change now.
Combining the technical innovations with gamification and simple design has already resulted in games that look and feel different. Read our review and tips, or jump in with the games right away.
Update: After this review was initially published, I discovered the video poker game puts the discards back in the deck, which is very disadvantageous to the player. Please see my video poker section below for more information.

Table Games
Table games are not where PureRNG does their best work. The graphics are very simple. Overall, it seems somebody was in a rush to get them out. Most rules are fairly standard, but a noteworthy exception is Big Roller Poker, their version of Ultimate Texas Hold 'Em, where they lower the maximum raise after the flop to 3x, as opposed to the usual 4x. This is a player killer, increasing the house edge from 2.18% to 9.86%. Another warning is issued for their terrible scratch card games, with returns ranging from 54% to 72%. Some state lottery games have better odds than that. Both these games get a Wizard finger wagging of shame.

Roulette
PureRNG offers the usual two versions of roulette, as follows:
- European — This single-zero wheel offers a 2.70% house edge on all bets.
- American — This double-zero wheel offers a 5.27% house edge on all bets, except the 0-00-1-2-3 combination at 7.89%.
Spin 2 Win
Spin 2 Win (also known as Spin to Win and Wheel of Fortune) is a roulette-variant, played on a wheel numbered 1 to 17, with a random multiplier applied to a base win of 10 for 1. The bottom line is a return of 97.375%.
For all the rules and analysis, please see my page on Spin 2 Win.
Video Poker
Be strongly warned that this video poker puts the discards back in the deck! I would call this cheating, but the rule is disclosed in the rule screen, so I won't go that far. However, I suspect about 1% of players actually check the rule screen for video poker. I will say I think this game is unethical and at the very least the "without replacement" rule, as I call it, should be disclosed in the game name or somewhere on the main game screen.
Putting the discards back in the deck costs the player an additional 2.95% on top of the 0.46% house edge based on the usual rules without replacement, for a total house edge of 3.40%.
For a full analysis of this game, please see my page on video poker with replacement.
The following table shows the Video Poker games available in alphabetical order.
PureRNG Video Poker Alphabetic Order
Game review | Return | Power Poker | Multi-Play | Pay Table | Live Game |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Jacks or Better | 99.54% | No | No | 1-2-3-4-6-9-25-50-250 | No |
Blackjack 11
Blackjack 11 is the same thing as Easy Jack, a simplified version of blackjack where the goal is to get closest to 11. The full rules can be found on my Easy Jack page.
PureRNG does not state the number of decks used, but I can say the house edge is 0.94% with six decks. PureRNG claims a return of 94.91%, for a house edge of 5.09%. Where they get that figure, I don't know. You can decide for yourself who to believe.
They also offer the same Dealer Bust side bet that Easy Jack does, with the same 3-4-10-50-500 pay table. Assuming six decks, the house edge on the side bet is 9.51%.
The proper strategy is the same as the dealer, hit on six or less and stand on seven or more. Six is a very a borderline play. To cut down the house edge slightly, stand on a six if it is composed of two or more cards.
The following table shows the Blackjack 11 games available in alphabetical order.
Here is the same list in returns range, choose your game wisely.
Texas Hold 'Em Bonus
PureRNG switches the words around in their Texas Hold 'Em Bonus game to Texas Bonus Hold 'Em. I am not fooled.
They follow the liberal Las Vegas rule of paying even money on the Ante with a straight or higher. The house edge, defined as the ratio of expected loss to the Ante bet, is 2.04%.
They follow the 3-5-10-15-20-25-30-1000 pay table for the side bet, which as a house edge of 8.54%.
For more information about the rules and strategy, please see my Texas Hold 'Em Bonus link above.
Casino War
PureRNG calls their Casino War game Multihand Casino War. The player may play up to five hands at once against a single dealer card. They follow what I call the "liberal version," where the Raise pays 2 to 1 for a tie after a tie. The tie bet pays the usual stingy 10 to 1 odds.
As usual, they don't state the number of decks used. Assuming six decks, the house edge on the base bet, assuming the player always goes to war after a tie, which he should, is 2.33%. On the side bet the house edge is 18.65% (ouch!).
Big Rollover Poker
Big Rollover Poker is the same thing as Ultimate Texas Hold 'Em, except the large raise is a mandatory 3x, as opposed to the 3x or 4x in Ultimate. This dreadful rule change increases the house edge from 2.18% to 9.86%. For this reason, I urge you not to play this game.
For more information, please see my page on Big Rollover Poker.
The following table shows the Big Rollover Poker games available in alphabetical order.
PureRNG Big Rollover Poker Alphabetic Order
Game review | Return | Power Poker | Multi-Play | Pay Table | Live Game |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Jacks or Better | 99.54% | No | No | 1-2-3-4-6-9-25-50-250 | No |
Three Card Poker
PureRNG calls their Three Card Poker game Tri Card Poker. The Ante Bonus pay table is 1-4-5, for a house edge of 3.37%. The Pairplus pay table is the liberal 1-4-6-30-40, for a house edge of 2.32%. For more information, please see my page on Three Card Poker.
Let it Ride
The PureRNG web site lists a Let it Ride game, but when I tried to play it for purposes of this review I got an error message. Sorry, but I can't comment on this game until it's working.
Baccarat
At the time of this review, on August 3, 2021, the baccarat game was not working. When I tried to play it I got the error message you see here.
Blackjack
PureRNG offers two blackjack games -- multi-hand and single-deck. The multi-hand game can be played one to five hands at a time and uses eight decks. The single-deck game can be played on to three hands at a time.
The rule screen did not address whether double after a split is allowed in the single-deck game. By omission, I assume it is not. I couldn't play that game or get a screenshot, because the minimum bet in free-play mode was $1 and the they started me with only $0.50. That is strange because other games started me with a generous $1,000,000.
The rules table shows the better single is single-deck with a house edge of 0.48%.
Both games offers the version of the 21+3 side bet that pays 9 to 1 for all straight and flush hands, based on the player's initial two cards and the dealer's up card. The house edge in the single-deck game is 13.30% and in the eight-deck multi-hand game is 2.74%.
The following table shows the Blackjack games available in alphabetical order.
Here is the same list in returns range, choose your game wisely.
Scratch Cards
PureRNG scratch cards seems more or less the same. A 3x3 card where the player must get the same symbol three time to win. Some indicate a free game bonus round.
More importantly, the returns on these are terrible. Here are some returns I checked, as reported in the help files.
- Pirates Plunder — 54.00%
- Dream Vacation — 54.46%
- The Two Emperors — 70.05%
- Kings Alchemist — 70.08%
- Mysterious Lamp — 71.91%
